Our team will always include an apprentice as we believe in training young blood to become successful, knowledgeable hairstylists within our studio. Krista has been with Twisted since the doors opened in 2009, and took ownership in 2013. As the owner, Krista is a go-go gal who stays busy day in and day out whether it be tending to clients, or working on her many renovation goals around the shop. Behind the chair she has been a caring, genuine and meticulous hairstylist offering the utmost care to her beloved clientele. After 19 years, Krista is currently slowing down as a hairstylist, and will only be seeing one client per day in hopes to put more time back into her business and staff.

Allie has been a member of Twisted's for over 10 years now as a diverse stylist with a particular love for all things blonding! Bring her a foiliage, balyage and babylights all day long. But don't worry, this girl also loves the challenge of a colour correction and won't shy away from creative vivids either! Looking for a specialty barber cut? Allie stays busy working on her fades, tapers, and beard cleanups on a daily basis. You will also find Allie educating and training our younger stylists to become confident hairstylists, as well as assisting Krista with daily management tasks like ordering and banking.

Jackie joined the Twisted family in 2015 proving to be a versatile, busy hairstylist ! Jackie's biggest joy behind the chair is YOU! She values creating a safe space where her clients can feel seen and heard. She enjoys the challenge of intricate, modern haircuts to classic barbering, dimensional foiling to grey/white blending, and subtle lived-in to vivid colouring. Jackie is also our go-to girl for braiding and updos as she has an intricate flare for special occasion and event looks. Jackie also holds our team together emotionally by offering us team bonding exercises such as positivity circles and words of affirmation so we all stay tight and bonded as a team.

​Randi has been in the industry for 18 years, and a loyal member of Twisted for over 10 years. Anyone who knows Randi will say she lives and breathes anything beauty, and she is always ready to learn the hot up and coming trends. Randi is known to be very talented in curly hair cutting, styling, and educating her clients on how to care for their coils at home with the right products. Randi is also passionate about offering hair loss solutions such as micro fusion extensions, or assistance with hair pieces. When she's back in the salon, she will also help educate our younger stylists and assist Krista with management tasks.

Sarah joined the Twisted team in 2020 bringing with her a solid amount of experience as a multi-talented stylist. As a stylist, she loves the precision cutting of a bob or pixie, texture of razor cuts like shags and mullets, and creativity of a custom curly cut! Sarah enjoys commercial, lived-in colors such as highlight/lowlight combos, or a good balyage. You will also see her tackling a number of perms as she loves enhancing and creating wave and texture. Sarah also assists Krista with daily management tasks such as customer service, education and product knowledge!

Sammy has become a talented and diverse hairstylist since joining the Twisted team 3 years ago. As a colourist, rich chocolates, to bold reds and coppers, to neon vivids are all of interest to this girl, however she is finding lately that a good blonding service is her real jam! Bring her soft foiling, balayage's, and lived-in looks any day. Sammy loves adding dimensional layers and custom looks into medium to long lengths, while a tight fade and beard trim is also her specialty. Sammy offers hair extension services such as tape-in's, fusions, and wefts, but be sure to book a consultation with her first to get introduced.

Twisted welcomed Sara to the team 1 year ago as our salon apprentice. Sara finished hair school in May 2024, started gaining in salon hours right away and recently passed her first round of exams! Sara has a love for all things vivid and rainbow, especially in hair, and she hopes to gain a clientele focusing on this too! Sara is also working hard on her barbering and foiling skills and would love the opportunity to have more of this in her chair. Around the salon, you will see Sara assisting our stylists, shadowing us to learn skills, taking clients and helping with daily shop duties. If you would like to give this young blood a try, she would love more practice in foiling techniques, corrective colors and lived-in looks.

Meet our newest member Mel! She may be new to our team, but she packs several years of experience with her, starting her journey in the hair industry at a young age of 17. Mel is not shy to anything that comes her way whether it be a one of a kind haircut, bold vivid colour, or a fresh style to boost confidence!. Mel is comfortable with all types of hair, all ages, and strives to give a unique look to each individual in her chair. You will definitely see this girl all over our social media as she is killer at making fun reels and presents her work on a daily basis.

RECEPTIONIST/APPRENTICE

Meet Jo! Jo joined the Twisted team 2 years ago and was immediately a core member to our studio as she has impeccable customer service skills and fit in our family like a glove. She has experience in the beauty industry as she had completed hair school and worked in a salon atmosphere previously. On a daily basis you will see Jo taking care of our retail space, completing orders and inventory, helping the stylists and tattoo artists juggle their schedules and of course helping you when you come to visit us. Jo will soon be joining us on the salon floor as she wishes to work on her apprenticeship hours and become a hairstylist with us one day. You never know, she may be the one who shampoos or tones you the next time you visit. Stay tuned!

Meet Cole, our youngest member of the crew! Cole joined us as a part-time receptionist in April, and has fit in perfectly with our family. Cole has completed Cosmetology 10, 20 and will be taking 30 this upcoming school year. Cole is hoping that working in a salon atmosphere will help him decide if hair is a future career for him, and we are secretly hoping it is! Around the shop, you will see Cole answering phone calls, helping with shop duties and flashing his adorable smile around. Cole is polite, kind, calming and will be sure to welcome you to our studio in a relaxed manner.

Meet Angus! You may have already had the pleasure of meeting him in person as he hangs out around the shop while his mom is working. Angus likes to eat hair, play with his toys, follow his mom around and play with everyone who walks into the studio. Now that Angus is bit older, he no longer hangs out with us Tuesdays and Fridays because he is busy at daycare hanging out with all his puppy friends. If you want to meet or see Angus, make sure to stop by the salon on Wednesdays!
